Matchday message to fans.
It has been a really exciting time since I returned to the best club of Cambodia. I am very grateful to the clubs management team the owner and Mr Be Makara for entrusting me with the responsibility to lead this special club again.
It has ben a very busy period as I am sure you are all aware. I feel we have managed very well together, the management team the coaching staff and the players considering the heavy schedule of games coming every 3-4 days. To date we have not experienced any lengthy injuries which is very encouraging. I feel we are on the right pathway and are managing our training schedule, recovery and game times very well.
We have accomplished such a lot in such a short period of time. Lets not forget we are the first team from Cambodia to represent the country in the AFC Cup. This is no small achievement and something we all should be very proud of. Recently we made history again by winning our first AFC Cup match against Magwe FC, we look to continue our winning ways when we play our return leg In Myanmar at the beginning of the month. With 3 games remaining in the group stages we are confident of more positive results.
Being crowned Champions of the CNCC Cup to start our league campaign off was also a wonderful highlight and a good sign for the future potential of the team.
I feel the players have adapted very well with the new training environment, it is a lot different from what they have been used to previously. I am very happy with our young players coming through that have had opportunities in previous games Vahed, Mizan, Rozib, Yamin, Sen & Visly are all giving a great account of themselves and adding to the competition for places in the starting 11 each game. Our foreign players Maycon, Omogba, Muzuno, and Tomoki are all setting the standard for our local players to attain.
Match day 5 we welcome Asia Euro United FC having 1 win, 2 draws, 1 loss. We are very keen and optimistic in ensuring our league form is back to its best and are expecting this to be a reality in tomorrows fixture. We would like to urge all fans to have patience and confidence in what we are currently implementing and assure you that we are trying our best to make you proud. We hope to see more of our faithful fans come and support us tomorrow and into the future.
