Back in 2020, Immanuel Osamoji joined Boeung Ket Academy U15 and took part in the FFC U15 Championships, where his side failed to progress from the group stage.

The Nigerian-Khmer goalkeeper has a dream of becoming a professional footballer, and he believes joining Boeung Ket makes his dream come true.

“Joining Boeung Ket gives me hope to achieve my goal of becoming a professional footballer,” the 16-year-old told boeungketfc.com.

“All my coaches are taking care of me and giving me clear instruction during training.

“They usually do their best to make sure I improve. They also explain me carefully what I need to improve. They always encourage me and give me motivation.”

With his physical strength, the goalkeeper has recently been invited to join the training sessions with Boeung Ket’s first team to gain more experience.

“Training with the first team will surely give me a great experience to improve,” he added.

“It’s great to train with some amazing players with great experience.”
